I must have downloaded this book on my Kindle by accident, something that has been known to happen. In any event, I wound up reading it. It was also obvious that English is not a language with which the author is completely comfortable; professional editing is definitely needed!
Having said that, the story is told in a manner that seems simple and straight forward although complicated by the English issues. The characters are interesting and likeable but sadly under-developed. There were several major characters but there was no information concerning their backgrounds or potential motives. Instead, the reader is left hanging wondering about the characters and their possible roles, until those roles are fulfilled.
The story is excellent, full of twists and turns that keep the reader in unexpected surprises, and the end is somewhat surprising, although by the end, the reader is beginning to suspect the true situation. This storyline could be developed into an excellent book or even an action movie script.
In all, “The Agent of Graves” is entertaining and as is, perhaps a 3-STAR work. With professional editing, and better character development, it could make 4-STARS or better.
Hi folks...I'm into a second career as a fiction author. After more than thirty-seven years of professional managerial experience, scientific background, and a lifetime of practical skills, my love of reading, research and writing has combined into action stories about real people told in a tongue-in-cheek style.
