Green Lake by S.K. Epperson (Shevan Productions) Kindle Version
Following her husband’s suicide, Madeleine Heron quits her job as a college teacher and lives temporarily in her sister’s cabin in a small lake community on Green Lake. She quickly learns from their bizarre behavior that her neighbors all have their own psychological problems and some of them are more disturbing than other. In the course of the story, she strikes up a friendship with a Native American Conservation Officer who lives near her. She must overcome her emotional trepidation while he must overcome his background of fear of rejection, all in an atmosphere of murder, deception and strange behavior.
Green Lake is a well written tale of psychotic behavior leading to murder. The main characters and some of the supporting characters are likeable and worthy of empathy, while many of the others are not. The story moves quickly and keeps the reader on edge. The reader is constantly wondering what madness will occur next, and from whom.
Green Lake by S.K. Epperson…a great read for psycho thriller fans.
Hi folks...I'm into a second career as a fiction author. After more than thirty-seven years of professional managerial experience, scientific background, and a lifetime of practical skills, my love of reading, research and writing has combined into action stories about real people told in a tongue-in-cheek style.
